PGA Tour is ‘attempting to destroy’ LIV Golf, claims Greg Norman



Greg Norman says the PGA Tour is “attempting to destroy” the controversial LIV Golf tour.

The 67-year-old, who’s the chief government of the Saudi-backed insurgent tour that has attracted the likes of Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau, claims that makes an attempt to debate a method the place all of the excursions can co-exist have been turned down.

He stated in The Australian: “This notion we’re attempting to destroy excursions shouldn’t be true. The PGA Tour is attempting to destroy us, it’s so simple as that.

“The PGA Tour has not sat down and had a dialog with myself or any of my buyers.

“We tried awfully arduous, I do know I did personally for the previous 12 months. Once we knew we have been by no means going to listen to from them, we simply determined to go.

“Now we have little interest in sitting down with them, to be trustworthy with you, as a result of our product is working.”

The LIV Golf tour continues with the Invitational Chicago beginning on Friday.
